Attorney Mirela Omeragic
Originally from Bosnia and Hercegovina, Attorney Mirela Omeragic moved to Colorado 12 years ago. She graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Russian Studies. With a passion for law and a desire to grow her career, Mirela received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah. Mirela has since dedicated her practice solely toward Family Law.
As the Firm's expert on Family Law, Mirela competently handles a wide variety of related cases. She frequently handles cases involving divorce, child custody and support, alimony, legal separation, and parental rights. Over the years, Mirela has grown in her success and truly desires to see the needs of her clients met. She approaches each case with compassion and integrity and works tirelessly to achieve favorable outcomes. Mirela is a dedicated legal advocate, someone her clients can trust even in the midst of life's most difficult moments. She is also proud to assist clients who speak Spanish and Bosnian.
While in law school, Mirela was a vital member of several different organizations, including Minority Law Caucus and Women Lawyers of Utah. She also had the privilege of interning at the Office of the Guardian ad Litem as a representative in court for abused and neglected children. Having a desire to assist the Hispanic community prompted Mirela to intern at the Legal Aid Society. While there, she spent her time helping Hispanic individuals prepare their divorce documents.
Today, Mirela enjoys volunteering at the Bosnian Educational Cultural Center of Colorado, helping to preserve the Bosnian culture. She also spends time hiking, rollerblading, and being with loved ones.
